Sentron's cornerstone:
The chemical sensor line consists of rugged, unbreakable ISFET pH probes and meters, ensuring reliable operation in many different applications, even under the most demanding conditions. Through constant and direct contacts with all the target market segments the marketing department is continuously searching for new needs, find new application areas, to define new products to be developed.
 

EU Funding:
Sentron has received a grant of the EU via IAD for developing a minature sensor that transmits a pressure signal. Such a sensor is important for monitoring pressure in the human body.
With this funding Sentron Europe is designing a very small and low energy solution that can be used for a long period.





The technical cornerstones of Sentron are the solid state chip technology and the encapsulation. The marriage of these technologies has enabled the development of miniature chemical sensor devices, based on the Ion Selective Field Effect Transistor (ISFET) and micro pressure sensors, based on the piezo-resistive properties of silicon.

Applications - Water

The pH value of water is a very important indicator of its quality. It is also very important for human and animal health in view of the discharge of harmful substances.

In chemistry, it is very important because certain processes can only be performed at a specific pH area. In some processes, it can happen that the probe becomes dry. Our probes will not suffer as a result. In addition, they are very robust.

Sentron manufactures the Online probe for this application. This probe can be left to dry: it will not become dysfunctional as a result. In addition it is manufactured from high quality synthetic materials and hence resistant to all kinds of influences. The probe has an analogous outlet and can thus be connected directly to a traditional glass probe meter or to a PLC/DAQ by use of a 0-5V outlet signal.

The Online probe has been on the market for a couple of years and we have recently made some improvements to it. 

  • This probe does not become dysfunctional when left dry
  •  The probe is resistant to various chemical influences 
  • The Online probe has an analogous outlet and can be connected directly to a PLC
  • The Online probe possesses a special reference system

Sentron possesses the knowhow and technique to find the appropriate solution for your problem in close collaboration with you.
