Limited Warranty

Millar warrants to the original purchaser that the Millar branded pH Product Line (“Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship which cause the Product to fail to operate in accordance with the performance specifications set forth in documentation published for or provided with the Product for the applicable period.

Millar warrants that at the time of sale to the original purchaser, the branded pH product line – not being a custom-made product –shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year.

If there is such a defect, MILLAR will, at no charge and at its option, either repair or replace the equipment as appropriate and will make all reasonable efforts to evaluate the product and provide service as necessary within a reasonable amount of time upon receipt of the returned product. Millar’s limited warranty does not cover damage to the product from alterations, misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident.

Since factors beyond Millar’s control may directly affect the product and the results obtained from its use, Millar or its agents or employees shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential loss, damage, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the use of this product.

The user shall determine the suitability for use of these devices for research purposes only. Therefore, the user accepts these devices subject to all the terms hereof. Furthermore, Millar does not warrant that equipment is suitable for any specific purpose, other than that explicitly stated by Millar.

Millar hereby excludes all warranties not herein stated, whether express or implied by operation of law or course of dealing or trade usage or otherwise, including but not limited to any implied warranties of fitness or merchantability.

Delivery and Returns

We do our utmost best to ship orders within 30 business days.

We regret when your purchased product does not meet your expectations. Purchaser shall contact MILLAR’s Technical Support department at support@millar.com or +1.832.667.7000 to discuss the product specific situations and arrange to return any unused, loaned, or damaged Millar product.

Purchaser shall obtain and complete the appropriate forms (i.e. Case Form, Return Material Authorization – RMA, Return To Stock – RTS, Disinfection Affidavit, Return/Evaluation Form, etc.) from Millar prior to returning any such product. Items returned without the proper supporting Millar forms will be delayed in processing and/or rejected and sent back to the Purchaser at the Purchaser’s expense.

Purchaser must ship the returned product at their own expense. The product should be packed safely and preferably in its original packaging.

Return Policy

Millar products that are unused, have not been opened, and where the product packaging is undamaged, may be returned within thirty (30) business days of the shipping/invoice date [forty-five (45) business days for international customers].

A re-stocking fee equivalent to 15% of the product value will be assessed for all returned items. For all purchase orders, items must be returned prior to payment of an invoice. If an item is returned after an invoice has been paid, the difference will be retained as a credit toward a future Millar product purchase. Any type of product refund would only apply under special circumstances with approval by Millar’s Sales and Finance/Accounting departments. Equipment that has been used may not be returned.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL for third party products, accessories, software, and software upgrades. pH probes and products may only be returned to Millar under the following conditions without exception:

  • The Return Goods Form shall indicate the packaging has not been compromised and the product is unused.
  • No visible damage to the product packaging or labeling (i.e. wet, torn, text smeared, discoloration, etc.).
  • Any taped seal shall be intact with no signs of removal or re-placement (i.e. un-opened).
